Trade your Wrinkles for Needles

It happens now and then, a patient comes in for a health complaint and starts asking about whether Acupuncture really works for wrinkles.

The first Acupuncture Facial I performed was in a clinic where there were several Acupuncturist. Patients were rotated between practitioners. I did the first treatment, the women was in her mid 40's and she had some wrinkles around her eyes, forehead and mouth, nothing outstanding but it definitely aged her.

The next time I saw her was on her 7th visit. I had to do a double take. I thought she was a new student. She looked to be 10 years younger. I had heard that acupuncture it was an effective face life / rejuvenation but, when you see it first hand, it seems more impressive. I think it struck me more, because I had not seen her for so many treatments. The other practitioners that were there that day, agreed there was a noticeable change after even the 3rd visit.

Everyone is different of course, but if you are looking for a good alternative to going under the knife or botox, that is good for your whole body too, you should give Cosmetic Acupuncture a try. You will be pleasantly surprised! Update: now microneedling is a game changer.

*I am recommending that you consult your allopathic doctor before you make any changes, but keep in mind that allopathic doctors are not alternative therapist and most only know their particular field. If you are on prescription drugs, you have no choice but to follow the doctor's orders but try to implement what you can with the other suggestions and continue to ask if you can be safely taken off the medication or if there is a drug free way to address your issue. Seek out an Alternative Therapist to complement your treatment with advise on diet and nutrition, etc.
